Overview

AI-serves helps candidates find roles and helps companies evaluate them with structured interviews and AI matching. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have.

Information we collect

  • Account information (email, username, role) you provide when you sign up.
  • Resume files (PDF, DOCX) you upload, plus the parsed text and structured fields derived from them.
  • Interview recordings (audio, and video if you turn your camera on) and the transcripts and AI analyses generated from them.
  • Audio and transcripts of your tryout calls, the short practice roleplay you can run up to three times against our AI buyer.
  • Job postings, requirements, and matching results created by companies.
  • Basic operational logs needed to run the service (e.g., authentication events).
  • Anonymous usage statistics about our website: which pages and sections are viewed, for how long, which links and buttons are clicked, the referring site, and your device type, browser, country and language. We set no cookie and store nothing on your device for this, and we do not store your IP address: it is only used, together with your browser's user agent, to compute an identifier that changes every day. These statistics are kept for 13 months.

How we use it

  • Generate interview questions from your resume and produce structured profiles.
  • Match candidates to jobs and produce technical and behavioral summaries for hiring teams.
  • Operate, secure, and improve the service.

Sharing with our partner companies

AI-serves exists to connect talents with companies that are looking for them. To do that, we share your candidate profile, including your resume, the structured data we derive from it, your interview recordings, transcripts, and the AI analyses and scores generated from them, with the companies we have a contract with (our customers) when we believe you may be a good fit for a role they are hiring for.

Your tryout audio is the one exception: a tryout call is a practice call you take for yourself, not part of your candidate evidence, so we never share it with any company.

You consent to this sharing when you create your account (it is part of the checkbox you tick at sign-up). These companies receive your data as independent controllers and may only use it to evaluate you for their open roles, under the data- processing terms in our contract with them. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising or any purpose unrelated to hiring.

You can withdraw this consent at any time by emailing info@ai-serves.world or by deleting your account, which stops any further sharing. Withdrawal does not affect sharing that already took place while your consent was active.

Your controls

  • You can replace or remove your resume at any time.
  • You can delete your account from Settings, which removes your associated profile data, including interview recordings in object storage.
  • You can download a JSON bundle of everything we hold about you (GDPR Art. 15 + 20) from /api/auth/me/export/ while signed in.
  • You can contact us at info@ai-serves.world for any data-subject request (access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, objection).

Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6 + 9)

  • Art. 6(1)(b): contract performance. Processing your profile, resume, and interview text is necessary to run the hiring-platform service you signed up for.
  • Art. 9(2)(a): explicit consent for processing your interview recordings (audio, and video if you turn your camera on) and your tryout audio, whose voice content may contain biometric data. We ask for this through a dedicated consent prompt shown before any recording starts, separately for the interview and for the tryout, and you can withdraw it at any time by deleting the recording of a tryout call on the Call training page of your dashboard or by deleting your account.
  • Art. 6(1)(a): explicit consent for sharing your profile with the partner companies we contract with. You give this consent by ticking the box when you create your account (see “Sharing with our partner companies” and “Your controls” above).
  • Art. 6(1)(f): legitimate interests, for abuse / fraud detection and security logging at a minimum level (rate-limit counters, audit log entries).

Sub-processors

We use the following sub-processors. Where the processor is located outside the EU, transfers are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) bundled into each provider's data-processing agreement.

  • AI text-analysis provider (US company, processing in the EU): reading and scoring of your resume, interview transcripts and tryout calls, and matching you to jobs.
  • Speech-to-text provider (US): transcription of your interview recordings.
  • Live voice AI provider (US): real-time roleplay audio. Audio from your tryout calls is also stored by us until you delete it (see Retention).
  • Cloudflare R2 (EU jurisdiction): object storage for resumes, interview recordings, and tryout audio.
  • Render (US / Frankfurt): application hosting + Postgres.
  • Vercel (US / Frankfurt): frontend hosting.
  • Resend (US): transactional email (verification + password reset).

Retention

  • Resume files: kept while your account is active. Deleted from R2 immediately when you delete your account.
  • Interview recordings: kept on R2 while your account is active so you can review your own answers and so our scoring can be re-audited. Deleted from R2 immediately when you delete your account or when you retake the interview.
  • Tryout audio: each of your up to three tryout calls is kept on R2 until you delete it, so you can listen back to your own practice call whenever you like. You can permanently delete the recording of any call on the Call training page of your dashboard at any time, and all of it is deleted when you delete your account. The assessment and the transcript of a call stay with that call when you delete its recording.
  • Transcripts, scores, matches: kept while your account is active. Deleted when you delete your account or when you retake the interview.
  • Audit + usage logs: retained for up to 1 year for security and cost monitoring.
  • Session metadata: purged automatically when the underlying session expires.

Automated decision-making (GDPR Art. 22)

We use large language models to score your resume and interview answers and to rank you against open job postings. These outputs are decision-supporting; they help companies shortlist candidates, but the hiring decision itself is always made by a human. You have the right to request human review of any AI output that significantly affects you; contact info@ai-serves.world.
